The red head with white body Got-cha is a really good bluefish lure for the piers. I use an 8 inch piece of 30 pound mono for a leader and stock up on that color because the pier will sell out fast if the bluefish are biting.

What I do when it's slow is make about 20 casts around the end with the Got-cha to see if anything is there if somebody catches a bluefish.

I also like the white bucktail for jigging the bottom around the bar where the waves start to break on in towards the beach for flounder.
