Yeah, you're LOL, but what about the poor "visitors" lurking here.

Guess its that time of year. They have to be told.

Yes, in spite of what's presented in the travel brochures there are:

sharks

water moccassins

rattlesnakes

gators

jellyfish

coyotes

fox

and sadly:

loons (not birds) on the roads

thieves

druggies

Take care of your families. The beach is not what it was
even 10 years ago. Modern society has arrived and brought w/ it's ills.

--Only have bon-fires below the high tide line
--Put out your bon-fires (all the way!!)
--Give others space on the beach
--Don't swim/surf into fishermans lines
--Have pets on a leash
--Keep music so only you can hear it
--Know where your children are after dark
--Police up all your trash (and any other you find)
--If kids allowed to drink on beach - Clean up after them
--Turn off porch lites at nite
--Lock your cottages
--Lock your vehicles
--Fireworks are illegal on HI. NEVER discharge near homes
--Stay left of the fog (bike) lines on right of the road
--Stay out of nesting areas taped off on the beach
--Don't allow children to urinate on the beach
--Don't park in "No Parking Zones"
--Respect all persons, and property as if it were your own

These simple rules make the beach enjoyable and memorable for everyone.
