I soak my reels in freshwater upon return and then clean them. Picked up on your tip a few years ago about wd-40. What I'm doing noe is a couple of drops of oil. Keeps them working like new.

I love catching Cobia, never had alot of luck from surf, in fact everyone I've landed has been aboard Doug's boat. Don't know how much surf fishing I'll be doing, I refuse to pay $120.00 for a permirt and then be told where and how to park. Little bridge, Oregan inlet, and Mann's harbor will be my holes for now.

Have fun in Florida, and I'll go for Beaver Boy if you go for Sir Skate :) :)
