It's best if you visit one of the local fishing stores and ask what is bitting and what to use to catch them. They seem to be always on top of things going on. Please be careful and check your regulations because they differ from the ocean to the sounds and also don't forget to get a fishing license this year North Carolina makes you have a salt water license to fish.
