Josh, you may be thinking of Triumphs - lightweight and strong but being lightweight has disadvantages in wind and chop.It is hard to go wrong with Sea Hawk, Maycraft, or Carolina Skiff DLV series in the 20 foot range. These are less expensive than the Grady. Try to purchase the longest length and most horsepower as you can afford because you will want a bigger boat as soon as you splash it. Good luck and have fun with it.
