Looking for fresh bait

I'm in Duck surf fishing until Feb 12. I'm hoping to find some fresh bait, but up here the couple of places I've checked have only frozen. Do any of ya'll know of some place for fresh bait? I don't mind driving south to get it. I plan on fishing the northern beaches in hope if some stripers. Thanks!
