It has been awhile, but I have always enjoyed Steve Gwin out of Hatteras Harbor. The trips were more towards "hands on" rather than the usuall captain & mate. As a matter of fact, you will probably doing most of the mate's work and also maybe get yelled at.

I don't know if Steve has changed his philosophy or not, but we always had a good time and always caught big fish on a small boat. He has lived in Buxton for many years and he was a music teacher. He also has a great video of a Bluefish Blitz.
