It's about 40 miles to the gulf stream from Oregon Inlet and 20 miles from Hatteras Inlet. The yellowfin tuna tend to be plentiful but smaller size this time of year "footballs".

Also you might find some false albacore now trolling around AR-160 at Oregon Inlet.
