Yep we have been fishing up there for the last two years. We have caught plenty of spikes but nothing big, 21 in was the biggest. Grubs or gulp alive worked best for us but alot of folks use minnows in the cove for the big ones, we caught small ones with minnows. Lots of folks use mirror lures too but dosent work for us. We seem to use the same bait and at the same spot but no big fish, still its a great place to fish in the winter.
