Was in Duck about ten years ago. A whale about 50-60 ft. long swam by us about 200 yds. off the outer bar several times. You could see his tail and his waterspout when he breached.Finally he turned toward the ocean and jumpted three times right in front of us as he headed offshore.One of my best Outer Banks memories.
