Will, if I were you, I would trailer my boat to the Chesapeake bay and fish there. The bay is full of bait and full of stripers. You can cast artificials to the pilings of the CBBT, you can use live eels there as well. Drifting the main channels with eels will produce nice fish. Trolling the channel edges will produce too. The fishing around here is hit or miss with more misses than hits. There was a decent striper bite in the sound this past Monday and TW's site had a picture of a 32 pounder caught on a live eel around the Manns Harbor bridge.
