Fishin the fourth

Hey all. This is my first time on this board. Used to read the old one all the time for helpful info. I'm headin on down over the fourth and fishin the beach everyday. Gotta a question though. I never have much success on the beach and i enjoy fishing for flounder, blues, and mackeral. I always ask the locals where they're bitin but I never seem to have much luck. Any info would be greatly appreciated...
