Freshwater Lures

I don't know. Just my opinion about freshwater lures, I never liked spinner baits except for the small all black / silver blade rooster tail spinner, everything likes that lure. I never wanted to lose my freshwater lures to saltwater or toothy bluefish. So I'm not sure how it will work, you might have trouble with small pieces of trash like grass and the jellyfish stuff getting hung in the spinner blade.
My favorite and one to try for freshwater largemouth bass is the big 5/8 oz. 3 1/2" jointed topwater jitterbug in the yellow coach dog color. I call it the baby duck. The big bass look like a submarine going through the water after the lure then the water explodes like somebody threw a cinder block in the water on top of the lure. You have to get it right on the first cast, let the lure sit then move a little and reel in kind of fast. I don't like the regular topwater Arbogast jitterbug lures that aren't jointed.
Also found all my good lures in a bush that had a dead hornet's nest hanging above it when I was a kid and don't know if they will work everywhere.
