Well Guys and Gals,
It has been a solid, smoking scorcer here on the OBX this week.
Maybe Al Gore was right about Global warming....right after he invented the Internet......Anywayyyyyyyy it has been pretty for the most part.
Crabbing and Inshore fishing mostly for the Bluefish and Spanish Mackeral has been OK.
Lots of Bigs sharks around....don't take it lightly....I ride around all week in a 40 foot high tower on my boat and I see alot....mostly in Hattteras Inlet where I'm orbiting around.
The lower point on the end of Hatteras Island past the Ferry Docks has been producing Flounders,Sea Mullets and Bluefish for the surf fishing guys....a really cool place to fish early in the morning or late in the afternoon...peaceful,scenic and productive...this is also the area where I have been seeing alot of the Big Sharks!!!
The light tackle guys on the open boats back in Pamlico Sound have had good fishing for Grey & Speckled Trout......it's killing me cause I ain't been all summer.
The Weather Channel has managed to trump up "Emily" to a point to cause just enough problems to be a pain in the rear with causing people to
prematurely "flip out" about nothing...as they are all so good at.
Anyway hope everyone who was here this week had a great time...have a safe trip home and you guys coming in this week hope the same for you.
Good Times,Happy Times and safe Travels to all.
