King,
Last year in July we had some good Dolphin fishing 5 to 8 miles off the beach down here in Hatteras.
As a matter of fact Larry Gray of "GRAY'S DEPARTMENT" stores up the beach caught a couple of Gaffers between the Sea Buoy and first set of double cans in Hatteras Inlet while sight casting for Cobia's with me.
We could catch 10 to 30.. 4 to 5 pounders within sight of land on a 1/2 day trip......NOT THIS YEAR....Bummer
