Oct. is one of the best times to fish on thru to late Nov. when sometimes but not like before the big Blues show up.The puppy Drum will show up in warm water 72 or so.Had a few good years in late Sept. in Duck with them at that temp.If I do remember the big Drum and Stripers like the colder water, but other species, Trout, Blues, Kings Mackeral,Spot,Croaker. Pampano all are gone as soon as the water cools. Just depends on what you want to fish for.
