My thoughts and prayers too. Capt D is older than 40s, could be somebody in his family. He said that he was staying in Rodanthe this week and then the next 2 weeks with the rest of his family in Waves and it's around 16 of them. I don't know if his family is already there in Waves.

That La Waves Drive in Waves is probably a good fishing spot and could be for the rest of the summer. I've had my best pompano day right in a strong rip current, you could see the foam trail going out. Big pompano one after the other on a Sea Striker pompano rig. You would probably need warm clear water with a big swell coming in like breezy winds blowing off the ocean and a cell phone incase you need to call ocean rescue.
