Sugar Creek, Lone Cedar, Tale of the Whale are all real good on the Nags Head / Manteo Causeway. Darrell's in Manteo is another one. Keepers Galley on the east side of the bypass in Kitty Hawk is good one and doesn't get very crowded, I think it's still closed for the season. One way to get around the crowd at the restaurants if they don't hold tables is to go early sometimes the prices are cheaper too.

Capt. Franks on the west side of the bypass in Kitty Hawk for hot dogs. They also have a good fish sandwich, had one today. 3 wahoo strips on a big hot dog bun with lettuce, tomatoes and tartar sauce.
