Sam and Ommies is a must for some good food. The she crab soup and the clam chowder (clear broth) is great. This is located right on the beach road at South Nags Head (Behind the 7-11).

Even though it is a little ways away and somewhat hard to find I have never had a bad meal at Stipers. It is located in Manteo right before the McDonalds. You have to go all the way to the end of the neighborhood to get there. I'm starting to get hungry now!!!
