Inside Oregon Inlet

The big 10 pound bluefish and small flounder have been on the west side about 100 to 200 yards from the bridge at Oregon Inlet. If you have a boat just follow the other boats around for the big bluefish. The boats will catch 3 or 4 then the big bluefish will disappear and pop back up somewhere else. The flounder have been plentiful but are all throwback size. Also might be some cobia further out on the shoals.
I'm sure the boat ramp will be crowded this holiday weekend and as said the smoke from the wildfire can be like fog on the water if that's bad just depends on the wind. The smoke has been going all the way to Norfolk in Virginia.
