Shark Report

A big thresher shark was caught from the surf in Nags Head between the beach and outer bar, the shark was left laying on the beach. If you don't want the sharks please throw them back.

If your going offshore there's been a whole lot of hammerhead sharks on the surface at the gulf stream 40 miles off Oregon Inlet. King mackerel have been under them but you can't get through the sharks. You might want to go for tile fish in closer, they have been up to 12 pounds.
