For what it's worth I've suggested on here before you might want to try Sun Realty. I haven't heard any nickel and dime you complaints. As for the fishing what that sounds like is the fish were running small size, you could have tried a size 5 hook or even smaller size hook. I would guess small spot or small sea mullet.

A spot/kingfish rig is good for a variety of the small size fish. And big fish too, I've caught a gator size speckled trout on it. You can get the rigs at the tackle shops, Sea Striker and Mustad make them. I like the Sea Striker rig with the 1/2" ball floats. You might get 3 days out of the rig before the fish tear it to pieces.
