Thanks for all the tips guys. Made them last night for dinner and they are addictive. Made the potato and onion mixture. After tasting how bland it was I added hot country sausage which I precooked and drained real good. Also added some chedder cheese. Man they were good. Now I understand why CaptD makes so many at a time. I made 50 and after dinner and lunch my wife and I ate them all.
