Thanks for the thoughts Josh.
There was no damage to Roanoke Island. The storm skirted to the North of us. We did get a 51 mph wind gust and several in the 40's. There was so much lightning in the distance that it seemed like daytime for ahile. Right now it is sunny and the winds are dying down.
Reports from Red Drum Tackle in Buxton say the sea mullet and founder bite is strong on the beaches down there. The boaters around Hatteras Inlet are catching bull reds as well.
By the way, it is Bike Week on the OBX so keep an eye out while driving. Motorcycles are hard to see.
