Those orcas were real. Ask one of the ten anglers out of Oregon Inlet that lost a fish to them. There is a website called epic blitz that has a good story and video to go along with it. The seals are much more common than the whales. Seals usually show up every winter and hang out on some of the beaches. They are generally immature ones who wander a little farther south than the adults. Harbor seals are the species most commonly sighted. Earlier this winter, there was one hanging out at the docks at Oregon Inlet.
