Nice word "Pummell" ha ha ha Thats a word you don't hear every day.. and I wonder if this bridge will ever be done in my lifetime, similar to the bridge up north just as you cross onto the Banks in Kitty Hawk.. How long did it take to build that one and expand from one lane to 2 lanes of traffic each way????? I know bridges arent cheap by all means and state taxes help pay for them to be fixed or replaced, but ya know if a bridge is crumbling into the Sound like I have read and will see come Memorial Day, dont you think its a major priority before sections of it collapse????
