Probably stripers, they are still around the Oregon Inlet area. As far as I know there isn't any head boats going out this time of year. You might get lucky and find the stripers coming in with birds on them between first light and sunrise in the morning maybe try the Wright Brothers Monument area in Kill Devil Hills or Coquina Beach on the north side of Oregon Inlet and suppose to have been some caught recently from the catwalk with eels.
