You'll have to go with Rick for some stripers. I've tried the lights at night with lures and haven't caught anything. I think the surf temp is too cold, 37 degrees at Duck. You might get lucky and find one around the bridge at Oregon Inlet with an eel, I'd dress like an Eskimo.

South end of Ocracoke Island could be good with a southeast wind blowing in some warm water....
