Fishing Report And More

Happy New Year and FYI, there was no places to park your boat trailer at the boat ramps today. The boats are from south of Avalon Pier to Duck and are catching stripers. Nothing happening from the beach as far as I know in that area. Looks like Avalon Pier left the lights on last night and you might want to try the beach around the pier after dark or the street light at Helga Street just north of the pier. Just guessing the stripers might come in tomorrow on the south side of the Wright Brothers Monument after it rains.

You can see the boats "white dots" and people fishing on the beach in the research pier cams at Duck. 62 air temp, water temp is 41 degrees at the end of the pier and it's working again 51 degrees 2 miles out, big difference.

BTW, the cookie on the board expired and was reset to 2021 since the days are the same as last year. You'll have to use post and preview message to reset your password, just keep trying until you get it and check the save password box on the message. The passwords are encrypted and can't be unencrypted so if you lost your password you'll have to make a new slightly different profile.

Doesn't seem to be any trouble from email spam on this board, you might get a foreign and Viagra spam every now and then. Your email filter should take care of it.

I'll try to post some pics of the snow last week later on.
