This Weekend

Warm weather and winds from the south. The surf will probably be muddy on the northern beaches. I'd suggest the south side of the point at Buxton, Frisco Pier area or Hatteras Inlet for puppy drum. I think that would be the best way to go.

You might catch a striper with an eel around the bridge or rock jetty at Oregon Inlet. If you see the boats try fishing directly in front on the beach sometimes the fish can come in quick there even in muddy water. They might be fishing around South Nags Head.

And if that don't work, should be some spiney dog sharks in the surf after dark for sure.

Also just my opinion if your going out in a boat I would expect the wind may pick up with this weather so you might not want to go too far from the inlet.
