Some people don't catch anything and not everybody has been catching fish. If you want my guess to fill up a cooler I believe a 60-63 or a little lower water temperature will be the best time, if not spot then northern sea mullet or blowtoads. I don't know when that will happen.

I'm hoping the big speckled trout will show up in numbers this year maybe in about 3 weeks, so far it's been mostly small ones. I think this weekend with the northwest wind it could be good around the bridge at Oregon Inlet, either the beach or catwalk. The little bridge on the Nags Head Causeway might also be worth checking out.

BTW, I'm glad your feeling better and holding a line again.
