Fishing help

Hi y'all. I am staying at Corolla the first week of November and would appreciate any advice on where to go to rent fishing equipment and or fish in the OBX area. Also, how much are out of state licenses? Can you buy one for one week? Any feedback is certainly welcome. Thanks in advance, Andy.
