I have seen no reports either. I guess its still real slow. My uncle fished the Chowan River the other day (I live near between this river and the Roanoke) and he said the Chowan is full of Rock fish this year. He said he caught many in the past several days but only one was a keeper. This is SO good to hear even if they are small. I hope and pray the population of this fish will return in great numbers. Hopefully the rocks "fighting" season will be good. Have you ever seen pictures of this? Its very awesome to observe and be in the middle of this when on the river. I love to star gaze by the way, especailly on a warm summer night with a fishing rod in my hand on the beach with a soft warm breeze going to keep the skeeters off my arms.
