Duck, NC - NOW

Any tips for fishing this week in Duck? We got down last Friday and with the nice weather took the family to the beach and dedicated both days to hanging with them. Well since Sunday the weather has been crap, any tips on what to do with the colder weather, wind, and rain or should I just hit the surf and fish as if it were the nice days I'm used to on vacation?
