Good advice I'm sure but are there any such shops here on the Outer Banks? Most of those I have been in have no good info nor equipment. I am no stranger to fly fishing but it's all eastern US fresh water and normally only very light equipment is required. Handling a fly rod and 10 to 20 yards of line and leader is not easily accomplished with a number of spin casters near so I'm not really sure I really want to invest premium $$ in it until I had a little "practice" and a better feel for the prospet of catching a fish. Appreciate the response.
