Fish with the Ranger Program--Open to the public

The Fish with the Ranger Program is a National Park Service Program that introduces visitors, both young and old, to surf fishing. The Fish with the Ranger program is active from Memorial Day until Labor Day. Fishing sessions are held on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at ramp 43.

The Cape Hatteras Anglers' Club supplies the manpower necessary to conduct this program. The fishing gear is donated by a variety of local tackle shops and businesses, manufacturers of tackle, and individuals from the Cape Hatteras Anglers Club.
