Death of a surf fishing friend

I apologize to all for joining for the sole purpose of making this post.

This week the surf fishing brotherhood lost one of it's own. Mr. John "Doug" Haste lost his battle to cancer. Doug loved fishing the suds especially for stripers on the Outer Banks. Doug had operated a pier at Topsail Island and has a Doug's Bait and Tackle/Fishing Line in Holly Ridge NC. He made many a bucktail for local anglers headed to the Kitty Hawk are for stripers. Everyone that entered his store quickly became a friend. A finer fisherman will never wade the suds than Doug Haste.
