The Shamino 4000 series reels are great. Might set you back about 70.00. Good for a 7-8 ft. rod.Have one a about 10 years old still works like new.Son has a newer one and loves it.Remember to keep your reel out of the sand and water and hose it down after each use.Quality will save you money in the long run.Have 6 or 7 reels I use on various rods all older than 10 years. Spent 50-70 ea. on them.Not expensive reels , but not the bargin basement types. Spend a few bucks more and save money in the long run.Also the drags on the cheap reels aren't worth diddly.
