Hello regulars, New to the site but not new to the Outer Banks. Most of my fishing has been with charters and a little pier and causeway bridge fishing. I will be down in Kitty Hawk the last week of July and was wondering about what rod sizes I should have to fish off the piers or the beach. I would like to try for some Cobia and or Kings, so what am I looking at to handle a fish from the pier. I remember needing a rope gaff if you get lucky to hook up. I will bring my bass sized rods for spanish mackeral, small blues and spot, etc. I also have an offshore trip booked for a shot at Marlin and dolphin. Can't wait to get back. Thanks in advance
