North of Oregon Inlet

You'll probably catch some bluefish and sea mullet for sure, the clearer water days have been better. Some keeper size stripers and big speckled trout are around if your lucky, you'll have to find a good hole and fish early morning for them. If your having trouble you might find one on the north side of the piers and the wrecks could also be good spots like the 2nd Street beach access in Kill Devil Hills near Goombays restaurant on the beach road and the Bladen Street beach access in Nags Head just north of Nags Head Pier. Small buoys mark them in the water. Another spot would be the Prospect Avenue beach access at the stoplight for the Wright Brothers Monument in Kill Devil Hills, it had a small buoy there a long time ago but it's gone. I'm guessing it's a wreck because the beach usually has small pieces of coal on it.
