Back surgery

Well the first phase of my surgery went well. As many of you know my back has been messed up for a long time due to my horseback riding accident. I have always just pasted a smile upon my face and gone on with life as to over come the intense and sever pain that I have been dealing with. I had my back surgery and all went well. I will have another back surgery May 6th and then hopefully the last sometime in June. This has really messed up my fishing on the Roanoke River this year as the Rock fish spawn. The river has been packed up here at Weldon, NC each day over the last week. I have good reports that the rock fish are schooled up near the big rock. Since the water level has been so high over the past many months due to discharge from Lake Gaston and Kerr Lake my bet is most of the very nice rock fish are up at Gaston near or behind the old Champion Paper mill. Well anyway, Happy fishing and I hope to be holding a tight line again soon. Thank you for all the well wishes but please keep me in your prayers because spinal cord pain is miserable. Deb
