the most formidable quarry on Ft. Lauderdale trip.

Nocker rigs variations did NOT work in reef areas.

Canal and pier both productive = jack, puffer, pinfish, grunts, black bass, tho nothing to write home about.

Ocean, esp. w/i 75 foot of beach, loaded w/ barracuda. Experts have no explanation for the numbers.

Last nite trophy blue crab + 2 footer that got away.

Hit casino on way back. They are richer.

In summary...Drive time a drag. Time w/ daughter, hubby and dogs great, but no place like home.
