I'd still try the pier again Saturday or Sunday, I think the water temperature is going to go up and could be some fish caught. The little bridge might be worth trying, you might catch a puppy drum or striper. You can tell sometimes where the fish are in the sound by the bird activity.

If you just want some pullage with the dog sharks try the surf after dark. The ocean is laying down and the full moon was really bright just like daylight last night with the clear sky.

I use the Breakaway Red Eye light on the rod tip at night, you can mount it on with electrical tape or have the base thread wrapped on the rod. The green mini glow sticks are also good, you can get either one at the tackle shops. I like to sand spike the rods at night then sit in the beach chair and watch the light for a bite, usually it shakes real fast or just goes down if it's not a wave.
