Good point on allot of fish around. I haven’t had much luck when fish aren’t abundant, but then again when it’s like that my boys can only last about 3 hours. Also I do have better luck in the Fall and Summer; Spring is always a shot in the dark for the artificial stuff. I’m going to be at Nags Head 2 – 10 April and the weather is looking good this year so hopefully I’ll hit the bulls’ eye. As for what I use I like the blood worms, minnows, shrimp, and squid. Blood worms and shrimp work the best but what I hate with artificial is that you have to hit the right color and at $5 a bag it can get expensive. Its clean bait though and hard to steal. My best fishing experience with them was at the State Military Reservation at Virginia Beach in October. We couldn’t stop catching Kings and Trout and it hooked my boys on fishing. Good Times!
