Stripers

Are the big Stripers making there way down there with the colder weather? I was lucky enough to catch a nice 30lb Striper on Oct 17th off the beach at Oregon Inlet, but mostly caught puppy drum. I didn't hear about any other Stripers being caught at that time. The trout were also there in the morning and would catch them and puppy drum casting in the surf.
