I've always preffered to fish high tide. 2 hours before and 2 hours after. I don't know if there is any " science " behind it or not , maybe just superstition. My thinking is with the bigger waves around high tide , more of the critters fish eat get stirred up so the fish feed a little bit more actively. I've caught fish at low tide too though , so I really don't think it is that big of an influence
