Totally agree with you.About the fresh. Don't use it in fresh mostly.Trout will see it and most of the bass lakes I fish on have to many snags to use it.Have to anchor the boat just to break off a snag and not screw up where I'm fishing.Though there are some weedly lakes where it works better can pull in that hog thru the weeds, where mono might break.Always backfill my big salt reels with 30-50 mono, and fill the front with braid, for better casting.
