May 29-June 5

We usually take a vacation to Rodanthe mid to late summer, so I'm getting to know what fish are around then. This year, we will be there the last weekend in May till June 5th. I really have no idea what to expect from the fishing there that time of year (surf, pier, and sound). Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
