That's some of what makes it such a great place to fish. It also seems that the Outer Banks is kind of the northern limit for warm water fish from farther south and the southern limit for cold water fish from up north , at least to me anyway. What an amazing place!

I've got cabin fever , spring fever and fish fever. I can't wait to get down there! Hope everyone is doing well and getting geared up for spring/summer fishing. I know I am.

Also , just curious , does anyone plan on targeting any new or different species this year? How ? and Why?

I'm planning on making an effort to catch some sheepsheads and pompanos. I've caught both , but more by accident when fishing for other types of fish. So I'm going after them this year. Guess I need to study a little to figure these guys out!
