I like to walk out on that little pier at night after dinner at Sugar Creek. There's fish swimming around in the lights shining on the water like minnows, pinfish, stripers. You have to watch out for the bird poop on the pier.

Darrell's is on the main highway in Manteo, be on the right coming from Nags Head not far into the town. It does get crowded and there isn't much parking. I recommend going early for that reason....
